    There are two communications specialists within the SWISSCOY contingent who take on the function of Press and Information Officer (PIO). These functions work together with the communications department at SWISSINT for the internal and external communication of the SWISSCOY contingent. They provides benefits for the contingent as well as for SWISSINT in the area of personnel marketing and professional media work and produce various communication products such as articles for newspapers, post for social media or photos and videos from the mission area. A communications specialist is also deployed in the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) in Ghana. The communication specialist oversees the communication channels of this training centre.

    • Individuals with education, training or experience in the area of corporate communication, journalism, marketing or with a high degree of background knowledge of social media and content creation.
    • SWISSCOY | KFOR

      SWISSCOY in Kosovo is the Swiss Armed Forces largest peace support operation to date. 215 men and women undertake a wide variety of functions in support of Kosovo Force (KFOR).

    • Capacity Building

      Swiss officers support international training centres and develop members of international armed forces, police officers, and civilians as instructors in the field of peacekeeping.

    • From application to assignment abroad

      Interested women and men can apply to the SWISSINT Competence Centre for a peace-promoting mission abroad within the framework of the Swiss Armed Forces. We are looking for experts from a wide variety of professions. The basic requirements differ depending on the mission and type of operation.
