Tasks
National as well as international infrastructure in various locations around Kosovo are maintained by members of the SWISSCOY. This includes the civilian buildings inhabited by the Swiss Liaison and Monitoring Teams (LMT) as well as around 560 containers installed in mission related infrastructures. These containers are used to house SWISSCOY soldiers and are also used as office and work spaces. These containers include sanitation facilities and are fully electrically connected. The tasks of these functions include undertaking repairs in the infrastructure, the inspection of electrical installations and the remedy of water and wastewater disruptions.

Sought after profiles
- Individuals with technical training as electricians, electrical mechanics, sanitation facility management, carpenter, draughtsman, metalworker, or with similar training or qualifications in the area of logistics.
- Appropriate military training or background is required for functions such as section commander.

Interested women and men can apply to the SWISSINT Competence Centre for a peace-promoting mission abroad within the framework of the Swiss Armed Forces. We are looking for experts from a wide variety of professions. The basic requirements differ depending on the mission and type of operation.
