    SWISSCOY soldiers work together with Austrian service members in a jointly operated medical centre. The responsibilities include general and emergency primary care under the supervision and direction of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Alongside these responsibilities, the medical personnel conduct training exercises and foster exchanges with other medical facilities within KFOR. The medical centre is tasked with conducting medical trainings for the SWISSCOY members. Moreover, the medical personnel is also responsible for proper storage of medical products and assume responsibility for medical files during the mission.

      SWISSCOY in Kosovo is the Swiss Armed Forces largest peace support operation to date. 195 men and women undertake a wide variety of functions in support of Kosovo Force (KFOR).

    • From application to assignment abroad

      Interested women and men can apply to the SWISSINT Competence Centre for a peace-promoting mission abroad within the framework of the Swiss Armed Forces. We are looking for experts from a wide variety of professions. The basic requirements differ depending on the mission and type of operation.
