    Specialists in the field of logistics are responsible for camp management and are sought for different mission areas. These functions provides the SWISSCOY contingent in Kosovo, as well as EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina with supplies, goods and materials and are responsible for the proper storage of these materials. Additionally, these functions assume responsibility for certain logistics system processes. Furthermore, as part of humanitarian demining missions, Swiss solders undertake the function of Logistics Advisor for the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS).

    Sought after profiles

    • Individuals with commercial vocational training, technical, logistics vocational training, or comparable training in freight logistics or higher education in logistics or supply chain management.
    • Appropriate military training or background is required for positions as platoon leader or section commander.
    • SWISSCOY | KFOR

      SWISSCOY in Kosovo is the Swiss Armed Forces largest peace support operation to date. 215 men and women undertake a wide variety of functions in support of Kosovo Force (KFOR).

    • EUFOR ALTHEA

      Since 2004, up to 20 Swiss Armed Forces personnel have been working in Liaison and Observation Teams (LOT) supporting EUFOR ALTHEA in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    • Humanitarian Demining

      Swiss specialists support the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) Programme in humanitarian demining.

    • From application to assignment abroad

      Interested women and men can apply to the SWISSINT Competence Centre for a peace-promoting mission abroad within the framework of the Swiss Armed Forces. We are looking for experts from a wide variety of professions. The basic requirements differ depending on the mission and type of operation.
