Maintenance

    SWISSCOY is in possession of up to 150 different operational vehicles in the mission area. These are typically maintained on-site. This includes inspections, repairs and service work of all-terrain vehicles, construction machines, passenger vehicles, freight vehicles as well as armoured vehicles. The maintenance division is equipped with a service vehicle to provide mobile assistance for problems that occur on the road.

    Sought after profiles

    • Individuals with completed training as vehicle, freight vehicle, mechanic, construction vehicle, polytechnic-mechanic or locksmith.
    • Appropriate  military background or training is required for positions as section commander.

      SWISSCOY in Kosovo is the Swiss Armed Forces largest peace support operation to date. 215 men and women undertake a wide variety of functions in support of Kosovo Force (KFOR).

    • From application to assignment abroad

      Interested women and men can apply to the SWISSINT Competence Centre for a peace-promoting mission abroad within the framework of the Swiss Armed Forces. We are looking for experts from a wide variety of professions. The basic requirements differ depending on the mission and type of operation.
